Misha AI vs Claude Code
Claude Code if the work is writing and shipping software. Misha if the work is running a store. Many teams genuinely use both.
This comparison comes up more than you would expect, because Claude Code is extremely capable and technical founders reach for it first. Given database credentials and API keys it can absolutely pull your Shopify orders, write a script against the Meta API, and produce a chart.
The difference is what happens on the second Tuesday. Claude Code starts each session from nothing: no memory of your metric definitions, no reconciled data model, no schedule. It is a brilliant engineer with amnesia. Misha is a standing operator with a warehouse behind him.

Where Claude Code is the better choice
Anything involving code
Claude Code reads and writes your codebase, runs tests, opens pull requests and debugs. Misha does none of that. For engineering work it is not a close comparison.
Total flexibility
Claude Code will do whatever you can describe, against whatever API you have credentials for. Misha only does the twenty-four actions he ships with. If you need something unusual once, a general agent is faster than waiting for us to build it.
It is already in your terminal
If your team lives in a terminal and has engineering capacity to spare, you can build a lot of this yourself. Some brands should.

Your margin definition, which SKUs are bundles, that one channel whose UTMs have been broken since March. A fresh coding session knows none of it and you re-explain every time.
Reconciled data, not raw API calls
Finsi OS joins Shopify to ad spend to email to subscriptions and reconciles them. A script hitting the Shopify API gets orders; it does not get attributed revenue, cohort LTV or contribution margin without someone building that first — and maintaining it.
He runs without being asked
A daily brief at 7am, an ad audit at 11, churn alerts at 3, a weekly report on Sunday. Agentic tools run when you invoke them. Most of Misha's value is the work nobody remembered to ask for.
It is not an engineering project
Building this yourself means pipelines, credential storage, a metrics layer and someone maintaining it while it silently rots. That is the product, and it is why Finsi exists.

Could I just use Claude Code instead of Misha AI?
For a one-off analysis, yes, and it will do it well. The gap is durability: Claude Code starts each session with no memory of your metric definitions and no reconciled data model, so you rebuild context every time and maintain any pipeline yourself. Misha is a standing service with that layer already built. If you have spare engineering capacity, building it yourself is a legitimate choice.
Do Misha AI and Claude Code overlap?
